昂貴的燃油已迫使工廠經營,管理及保全維護人員,不得不重視整個蒸汽系統的效率問題,為了節約能源,必須研究各種方法使蒸汽能有效的利用.檢討是否會有蒸汽從管路或機器中洩漏,浪費了價昂的熱能。首先值得提出檢討的,毫無疑問即是蒸汽疏水閥。雖然蒸汽疏水閥在整個蒸汽 系統中所佔的金額少,體積小,但它能否適當及正確的操作,往往會影響整個蒸汽系統的效率,直接影響成本。提高蒸汽效率,正確地選用及維護蒸汽疏水閥乃是一個重要的關鍵。
